FAMILY THERAPY

Only an option for residents of California state. Virtual psychotherapy with a supportive treatment plan to address family challenges and barriers, mental health issues, and external stressors impacting the family system. A Release of Information (ROI) with Primary Care Provider is encouraged to provide wrap around care. Families experiencing active abuse are ineligible for treatment program and will be referred to more supportive resources.

 

Families commit to attending sessions consistently for 8-weeks together and collaborate towards the identified goals. Sessions are uniquely tailored to each family members identified goals and strengths. Families commit to weekly or biweekly sessions for two months, until reassessment of stability. Throughout treatment some sessions may be held with subsystems of the family and other sessions will incorporate all members. Following completion of treatment, follow-up appointments may be provided as needed. The therapeutic approaches utilized include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
